Your PC. on Sonos. No echo. None.
PC2Sonos streams everything your Windows PC or Mac plays to your Sonos speakers, in sync with your desk speakers, so you hear it once. Free, runs on your own computer, and starts by itself when you log in.
Windows 10 or newer, macOS 12 or newer. No account needed.
Three steps. Then forget it.
- 01
Install
Run the Windows installer or open the Mac app. It sets up the free virtual audio driver it needs.
- 02
Pick your speakers
The dashboard opens in your browser. Turn on the Sonos speakers you want.
- 03
Play something, press Auto
PC2Sonos measures the delay, and your PC speakers and Sonos play together from then on.
Sonos always plays a second or two behind your computer. Play both and you hear everything twice. PC2Sonos holds your desk speakers back by exactly that much, so they land together.
Mess it up.
Then fix it.
That delay is built into Sonos so a group of speakers stays in step, and no app can remove it. So PC2Sonos delays your computer instead, like the lip-sync setting on a TV. Press Auto once in the app and it measures the gap for you.
Flip the switch off to hear what your speakers sound like without PC2Sonos, then back on to fix it. Real Sonos lag is 1 to 2 seconds. The demo beat uses a shorter gap so you can hear the doubling.
Everything you'd want
from a desk rig.
Every Sonos, found
Finds all your speakers automatically, even on a separate network or VLAN. Turn on the ones you want, each with its own volume.
No echo, ever
Your PC speakers are delayed to match Sonos, and it resyncs in the background so it doesn't drift over a long day.
Starts on its own
Runs quietly at login, in the system tray or menu bar. Nothing to remember to open.
Pick what plays
Stream the whole computer, or just the apps you choose (Windows). You can also play a file or a device plugged into your PC.
See it all live
Which speakers are playing, your sync delay and a live level meter, with a sleep timer and one volume slider for everything.
Crank the bass
Each Sonos and each PC speaker gets its own volume slider, even headsets Windows can't turn down. Add bass, mid and treble EQ or a boost for quiet desk speakers.
Yours alone
Runs entirely on your machine. No account, no cloud, no telemetry, and on Windows it never uses your microphone.
